Education that inspires, community that transforms
Find out more about CEKT
- The three levels of education we offer – primary school, middle school and high school – each tailored to develop each child’s unique potential.
- Our educational philosophy and the plan that guides the learning process.
- How we build a safe, creative and stimulating environment to prepare children for the future.
Every child has a story and together we write the best one.
Monica Cojan, Founder
At CEKT we emphasize communication, languages and science, but we also understand that all children are like flowers - they need the right pot, the right type of soil, and the right weather or humidity to reach their potential. But above all, we want them to feel safe in every way so that they are prepared for the jobs of the future.

Raluca Tânțărean, Mentor
Emotional security, especially at very young ages, depending on the approach and responsible involvement of a mentor, is a determining factor in whether tomorrow's adult will make or break. The difference between a potential flight and the threat of broken wings from a cage can be influenced by seemingly insignificant gestures and words.

Cristina Gherman, Mentor
Inspiration was and is the key word! The inspiration of a leadership and colleagues with a variety of life experiences, who have turned passion and involvement into a profession or even a vocation. The inspiration of classes where no two days are alike. The inspiration of children united in diversity, with whom I am happy to work, as they are the future and a source of continuous inspiration.

Our education plan: inspiration for the future.

CEKT – CEREHARD – EDUCATIONAL PLAN
“We know that learning is synonymous with development, and to reach one’s full potential, at CEKT, we aim to cultivate continuous learning and growth. Therefore, we offer our students a safe, creative, and stimulating environment in which they can discover themselves and work on their talents. We emphasize metacognition, awareness of thinking processes, and the understanding of cognitive patterns, precisely to cultivate a physical and emotional safe space.”
– Monica Cojan, Founder of Knowledge Tree Center
Vision
We see a world where empowered adults confidently exercise their talents and generate positive changes in our society.
Values
Emotional well-being, uniqueness, autonomy, transdisciplinarity, awareness, flexibility, adaptability.
Mission
We provide a dynamic learning environment where students develop their creativity, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and a lifelong love for learning. Once identified, these are discussed by mentors with the intention of developing a comprehensive transdisciplinary plan that addresses and engages these interests and needs across all subjects studied during that week or even throughout a semester.
Goal
Through intuitive pedagogy aligned with the Cambridge Curriculum, we prepare future adults to become conscious, autonomous, innovative, and capable of generating positive changes, both for themselves and for the community.
Core Principles of Intuitive Pedagogy
- Child-Centered Learning: Tailor education to individual student needs, interests, and abilities.
- Holistic Development: Address intellectual, emotional, social, physical, and creative growth.
- Experiential Learning: Emphasize learning through experience, play, and hands-on activities.
- Flexibility: Adapt teaching methods to the evolving needs of students.
- Emotional Safety: Create a nurturing environment where children feel secure to express themselves and take risks.
Our Curriculum
We structured our subjects based on both the Romanian and the British-Cambridge curriculum. We seek to provide children with access to an alternative education, with an international outlook and the possibility to study and apply their knowledge within the country. We combine elements of traditional exercises in notebooks with creativity, practical application, and discussion of what has been learned.
For primary and middle school classes, we need to impart working systems that include order, clarity of ideas, sufficient repetitions and reviews for all students, organization, and strategic thinking in approaching any task.
