Dear parents,
We understand that recent changes in education legislation may raise questions and concerns. We would like to inform you about the main changes implemented in 2024 and how they affect your children’s educational journey.
- Emergency Ordinance no. 95/2024: This ordinance made amendments and additions to the Pre-University Education Law no. 198/2023 and the Higher Education Law no. 199/2023. Among other things, it established new criteria for recognizing foreign doctoral supervisors and regulated scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate studies abroad.

It includes provisions on the rights and obligations of pupils and teachers, the structure of the school year and other administrative aspects.

This tool documents and assesses a student’s academic, personal and social progress, facilitating the identification of support needs and school or career guidance.

In addition, a mark for conduct will be awarded at the end of each module and may be deducted if a significant number of unexcused absences accumulate.
https://legislatie.just.ro/public/DetaliiDocument/286955 - Approval of teachers’ professional profile and standards: by Order no. 7.386 of November 11, 2024, the professional profile and standards of pre-university teachers were approved, detailed by career stages and educational levels.
